Kim has over 20 years of Human Resources experience in Generalist, Organizational Development, Learning & Leadership Development and Talent Management roles in companies such as General Electric, Raytheon, Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Medidata Solutions. Across these diverse industries, Kim’s distinctive program designs and strategic direction have distinguished her in the areas of Global Leadership & Learning, Performance & Talent Management, Engagement, Diversity & Belonging, and Corporate Social Responsibility.
These strategies have resulted in placing these companies in Top 100 Great Places to Work and Great Places to Work in Technology Lists and winning ATD BEST and Stevie Gold and Bronze Awards for Most Innovative Learning & Corporate Social Responsibility programs.
Throughout her career, Kim has always been known to create environments that allow for authenticity, empathy, well-being and alignment to purpose. Kim’s passion around this topic led her to create her consulting company, Shine LLC. Shine focuses on supporting leaders and teams to shine as their best selves. Shine delivers holistic coaching programs for leaders, teams and individuals using a process of reflection, connection and support. The practices and tools utilized are grounded in research in the areas of neuro-science, positive psychology, leadership and wellness. Experiencing Shine has been proven to increase levels of psychological safety, performance and wellness.
Kim is certified with the College of Executive Coaching in Positive Psychology & Well-Being Coaching and the National Board of Medical Examiners Health & Wellness Certification. She is certified in EQ-I 2.0, Korn Ferry Learning Agility and Kaplan-Devries LVI 360 assessments.
Kim holds a MS in Human Performance from Southern CT State University and a BA in Politics from Fairfield University.
Kim lives in Bethlehem, CT with her husband Mark and their two daughters, Emma and Zuzu.

Anne-Marie Jennings
Organizational Development & Change Maker
Originally from New Zealand, Anne-Marie is an experienced change leader who has worked extensively across continents and cultures. Over more than 20 years, living and working globally, she has gathered expansive work and life experience on this journey, and is passionate in putting this to use as she supports organisations and colleagues navigating change and transformation.
Anne-Marie has been recognised and valued as a trusted partner across hierarchy, culture and geographies. In her 20+ years in the global pharmaceutical industry, this has included leading culture and change work in global integration; building sustainable global change communities to support transformation; leading design for major international leadership activation events; change lead supporting employee led change projects and being the senior leadership partner and counsel.
Her purpose is enabling people, teams and organisations to build mental, emotional and operational fitness and resilience. She believes the foundation of success is created through strong authentic leadership and partnered with co-creation as a way of working. With this in mind, Anne-Marie helps leaders experiment with new ways of working, foster strong connections, understand self and others.
Anne-Marie holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland. She is also a graduate of the NTL Global Organisational Development Programme and Team Management Systems facilitator. She is a facilitator of small and large scale team interventions and coach to leaders and peers.
Anne-Marie lives in Bavaria Germany with her husband.
Cheryl Malloy
FOUNDER & CEO of What Works LLC
At a young age, Cheryl yearned to help others. Cheryl retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, after serving the Connecticut State Police for 20 plus years. Through the years, Cheryl’s role evolved from being a first responder and investigator to Leader all in the service of “serve and protect”. During her career with the State Police, she was responsible for hiring, training and educating the sworn members of the agency which required cross functional collaboration and facilitation between the State Police and many other state agencies.
Recognizing the shifting demands of a new generation of talent who demanded to be heard and co-create solutions, Cheryl recognized a resulting need for a cultural shift within the agency and with that, pursued her formal education in Organizational Leadership.
In 2016, Cheryl began to live her purpose through the creation of What Works LLC, a fitness studio, which is centered on overall wellness. The community within “What Works”, is holistic in nature and strives to help others live healthier lives through fitness, wellness and supportive relationships. Cheryl’s passion is to make a difference each day, and to work with clients so they may attain their best results and at the pace that works for them.
Cheryl has a BS in Law Enforcement from Western New England College, in Springfield, Ma.
Cheryl is AFAA certified for group and personal training. She is certified in 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training, TRX, Spinning, Barre, and Reiki Level I. Cheryl is a graduate of The Institute for Integrated Nutrition as well as a certified Specialist in Fitness Nutrition from the International Sports Sciences Association.
With Cheryl’s combination of leadership experience and education and training in wellness, she seamlessly makes the connection to grounded leadership while facilitating our stretch and breath activities.
Cheryl resides in Bethlehem, CT with her husband Dwayne. They have four children and four grandchildren.
Chris Forando
Organization Development & Effectiveness Consultant
Chris Forando has over 20 years of experience in leadership and organizational effectiveness/development roles across a range of industries, including financial services, sports entertainment, advertising, higher education, beauty/cosmetics, technology, and pharmaceutical. He specializes in organization development and design, high performing teams, personality and cognitive ability assessments for screening and selection, and decision forensics.
Chris most recently served as VP, Organization Development for L’Oreal USA. Prior to L’Oreal, Chris served as Senior Director, Organization Development (OD) at Medidata Solutions, a market leader in software and cloud solutions for accelerating clinical trials for the biopharmaceutical industry, where he had primary responsibility for decision forensics, organizational assessments, and executive coaching. Other roles have included Director of OD for Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Field Sales Operations at Boehringer-Ingelheim, the world’s largest privately held pharmaceutical company, and as Director of Learning & Development at ESPN.
Chris is a graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT and served for 12 years in multiple roles including fisheries officer in AK and the South Pacific, and joint services liaison to the Pentagon for national security matters. He also was on teaching staff at the Academy for 7 years instructing courses on team leadership, organizational behavior, and emotional intelligence.
Chris has a B.S. in Chemical/Biological Marine Science, M.S. Organizational Management, M.S. Industrial/Organizational Psychology and has completed all but his dissertation research for a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. He is certified in Change Management, MBTI, Quality Management, and Emotional Intelligence.
Chris is an avid ice hockey player (still maintains hope that he will be drafted by the Detroit Red Wings) and teaches evening courses in General Psychology and Industrial/Organizational Psychology at a local community college in CT. Chris lives with his wife, Kathleen, and three silky terriers in Norwich, CT.
