  • Are self aware enough to identify non-productive behaviors and model productive behaviors. 

  • Leverage their own physiology to bring their best selves to the world. 

  • Experience the human condition of vulnerability and are okay with feeling brave and afraid at the same time. 

  • Raise psychological safety on teams. 

Today’s world demands a new leadership model. We have not made enough progress on changing the expectations for leaders because we hesitate to dig into the humanity of the work.


WHAT WE BELIEVE:

  • Who we are is how we lead   

  • Fear is the emotion, how we respond to our fear defines us and shapes our environment for others  

  • Vulnerability is the foundation for courage

  • Courage is contagious

  • Whole hearts are the expectation

  • If we are comfortable, we are not learning

  • We CAN live in a world where armor is not necessary or rewarded

  • Leaders acknowledge their fears, so they don’t lead from them

  • Leaders are conscious & vulnerable

  • Leaders are brave enough to take care of themselves so they can take care of others

  • Leaders are NOT arrogant, neurotic, irrational or unbalanced

  • Leaders mold values-based cultures
